After creating an account and adding a secondary authentication method, you need to have at least 25 AVAX in your wallet plus some additional network fees.
If funding the wallet from a centralized exchange, select the C-chain address shown in the core application.
Once the deposit is made, users can start mobile staking.
Staking AVAX with Core Mobile
When staking AVAX, it is crucial to choose a wallet with a good user interface and support for the Avalanche blockchain network. Core Mobile offers the option to stake AVAX in just a few simple steps.
First, users must select the amount of AVAX they wish to stake in the Staking section of the application, and then select the minimum staking period (starting at 14 days). Users who want to maximize their rewards can stake for longer periods of time. During this period, they will not withdraw their staked AVAX until the lock-up period ends.
Core Mobile has an automated system that selects nodes for staking on behalf of users. However, users can also manually select nodes by selecting Advanced Settings.
After selecting their preferred staking option, users can view a summary of their selections before completing their pledge by clicking “Stake Now.” With Core Mobile, users can conveniently track their staking progress and view the rewards they earn within the app.
Users can get up and running with Avalanche staking in simple steps. There is no custody risk with Core Mobile because users control their own assets.
