On January 6, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Investigation Agency released the investigation conclusion of the case and recommended that the defendant Tran Thi Ngoc Tran (model Ngoc Tran) and the defendant Tran Chundong be prosecuted for crimes. The crime of “disturbing public order” stipulated in Article 318 of the Criminal Law.

In particular, the defendant Dong also filed for prosecution for the crime of “using false organizational documents” in accordance with Article 341 of the Criminal Law.
Previously, on October 19, 2023, the police investigation agency, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, initiated a public prosecution in this case and charged Tran Thi Ngoc Chan and Tran Chundong with the above-mentioned charges.
During the investigation, the investigative agency confiscated three motorcycles of unknown origin and a drone, which were used as means of transportation for the defendant’s behavior that disrupted public order; many forged vehicle documents and electronic equipment were evidence related to the case .
Sources from the Ministry of Public Security said that in the process of cooperating with the police, Chen Thi Ngoc Chan and Chen Chundong realized their illegal behavior and expressed the hope of receiving leniency from the police.
