More than 50 businesses with tax debts to stop using invoices in December 2023

It is understood that enterprises owe taxes more than 90 days beyond the tax payment deadline; the level of tax debt ranges from hundreds of millions of VND to tens of billions of VND. Citing Nguoi Lao Dong news, in December 2023, the Municipal Taxation Bureau. Ho Chi Minh City announced an enforcement decision to stop using invoices and declared them no longer valid for more than 50 businesses in the area.

The implementation plan given by the municipal taxation department is to stop using invoices within one year from the effective date of the implementation decision.

It is understood that the above-mentioned enterprises all owe taxes for more than 90 days after the prescribed tax payment deadline; the level of tax debt ranges from hundreds of millions of VND to tens of billions of VND.
