The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction has announced the list of projects eligible for housing sales, rentals and purchases in the future (2021 to 2023) period.
According to an announcement from the Ministry of Construction, between 2021 and 2023, Ho Chi Minh City has issued 66 formal notifications to confirm projects that will be eligible to sell, rent and purchase housing in the future.
Nearly 50 projects with a total of 44,432 apartments and 3,264 low-rise housing units have been approved for sale as “paper houses”.
Projects in urban residential areas and Phuoc Thien Park. Thu Duc occupies nearly half of the apartment complex, with 20,290 units, or 46%, and 150 low-rise units, or 5% of the total approvals.
The following are projects in Saigon – Ba Son complex with a total of 2,587 apartments; Binh Chanh commercial, service and housing center (Western City Company Limited is an investor) also has nearly 2,000 apartments and Thanh Xu district in District 12 Go Sao housing complex (the company limited liability company Housing Investment (as an investor) has 1,895 apartments approved for sale.
The “Real Estate Industry Law (Amendment)” was just passed on November 28 and will come into effect on January 1, 2025. The deposit collected by investors in real estate projects shall not exceed 5% of the selling price or lease-purchase price of the future houses or construction projects when they are qualified to operate.
